A single click is all it takes to schedule time with someone who understands the job.

A person sitting on the ground with a police jacket and firefighter helmet, looking at a bright doorway labeled 'Coaching, Support, Purpose'. The scene shifts from a dark city street with police and emergency vehicles on the left to a bright outdoor landscape with a sunset on the right. Signposts indicate directions to healing, growth, connection, meaning, and peace. There is an open journal with the words "Who am I now?" and a mug and pen nearby. Text overlay states: "The call, the shift, the pressure, the identity" on the dark side and "A new chapter, a new purpose, beyond the badge, back to you" on the bright side. Additional text reads: "You gave so much. Now it’s time to come back to you. Support for first responders and healthcare workers beyond the role. Back to you."

Why it Matters

The transition out of service can feel isolating when so much of life and identity was tied to the job. This coaching space exists to help first responders and healthcare workers reconnect with themselves beyond the role they carried for so long.

About

Gary Tabor is a retired Police Lieutenant with twenty-eight years of law enforcement service dedicated to protecting and serving his community. Throughout his career, he witnessed firsthand the emotional toll that public service can take on first responders and healthcare professionals — especially when identity, purpose, and self-worth become deeply tied to the job.

Gary earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilmington University and is finalizing graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to his academic training, he currently provides therapeutic support for first responders, helping individuals navigate stress, trauma, burnout, retirement, and the difficult transition beyond the uniform.

Drawing from both professional experience and personal understanding of first responder culture, Gary provides a space where clients feel understood without needing to explain the realities of the job. His mission is to help those who have spent their lives serving others reconnect with themselves, rediscover purpose, and move forward with strength and clarity.
